LOS ANGELES, CA – November 9, 2023 – Callie Haverda (That ‘90s Show, The Lost Husband) and Armani Jackson (Wolf Pack, Honor Society) headline the horror film, “The Fort.”

“The Fort” is adapted from a short story by award-winning writer Alan Lastufka. This “lovely and horrifying” (Jeremy Robert Johnson, author of The Loop) tale follows two high school friends in the 1990s from different socioeconomic backgrounds grappling with their friendship dynamics as they head off to different colleges. They share a childhood bond from spending time in a dilapidated RV in the woods they’ve dubbed “The Fort,” which, after years of abandonment, mysteriously grows a new door.

Haverda and Jackson are dynamic young actors who play the best friends in this supernatural horror examining class, privilege, and coming-of-age drama filmed in Kentucky. Production  wrapped in August under the SAG-AFTRA Interim Agreement.

Award-winning filmmaker Victoria McDevitt directed with Robert Jarosinski’s Umbrella Pictures and Lastufka’s Shortwave Media producing alongside Haverda and Jackson.
